The art of Australia is diverse, colourful, bold, sometimes contraversial, but always spectacular; with masters past and present working in traditional as well as more modern art styles. The one thing that Australian masters may not be, is well publicised and catalogued to the same extent that the European masters are. We think this is a shame and a loss for those outside the arts community - hence this exhibition with a focus on highlighting and celebrating the master artists of Australia.
In this exhibition we are calling for local artists to join us in creating a piece of a well known (or lesser known) painting - to be joined together with others and recreating the masters as a community.
You will be provided with your 'piece of the puzzle' to recreate in your medium, as well as the canvas and scale to work on.

Artisans of Australia is located on the Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria, on the traditional lands of the Wathaurong peoples. We respectfully acknowledge that the Aboriginal people of Australia are our first nation peoples and the traditional owners and custodians that watch over the lands and waters in which we create and play. We pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging.
